Chötrul Düchen, the “Great Day of Miraculous Manifestations,” is one of the four major Buddhist holy days commemorating key events in the life of Shakyamuni Buddha. It celebrates the miracles he displayed to inspire faith and devotion in his disciples.
Join us at the Center for a Shakyamuni Buddha Puja, a practice recommended by Lama Zopa Rinpoche for holy days. This beautiful and inspiring puja includes an extensive seven-limb practice and an homage recalling the Buddha’s heroic and compassionate deeds as a bodhisattva.
