This course is part of the Discovering Buddhism program developed by the FPMT. It offers a clear and practical introduction to meditation as taught in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, exploring what meditation is, how it works with the mind, and how to establish a correct and sustainable practice.
Students learn essential techniques such as mindfulness of the breath, working skillfully with distractions, and cultivating positive mental states, with an emphasis on applying meditation in daily life. Sessions include guided meditation, instruction, and discussion. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to strengthen their meditation practice, and is taught by Jack Nadelman.
