This Day of Practice is designed to complement the Discovering Buddhism: How to Meditate module by offering extended time to put the teachings into practice in a supportive, structured environment.
The day will be held largely in silence and will include a series of guided meditations led by Venerable Tendron and Jack Nadelman, emphasizing foundational meditation techniques such as posture, breath awareness, mindfulness, and working skillfully with distractions. The intention is to help participants build confidence, stability, and clarity in their meditation practice.
We will break for lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. During this time, silence will be lifted, and participants may engage in informal, dharma-related discussion. Please bring your own lunch or plan to purchase food nearby.
This Day of Practice is suitable for those currently taking the module as well newer meditators and those looking to refresh and deepen their meditation skills through sustained practice and guidance.
Rescheduled from March 28 to April 11
